My car had a misfire 2/27 and Artys Auto was able to get my car... in and out the next day! I had an general idea what was wrong, and the price Arty charged was in the same ballpark as to what I researched it would cost. He did mention some other things that needed to be done with my car, but did not try to sell my any additional service, just made me aware and gave me quotes for them. Also they have a shuttle service, which is nice!4/16/2024 edit: I still stand by Arty's is the best around here! I noticed a decent size bubble in my sidewall of my tire and desperately needed a new tire this morning and the dealership i bought my car at didnt have any availability for over a week. And as I drive almost 100 miles a day for work, a dummy wouldn't hold me over. I emailed Art and mentioned my tire size and what was going on and he informed me they keep my tire size in stock and to let Diane know I talked to him. I arrived at 730 when the opened, so here I am and here the techs are replacing my tire already. In the past with other mechanics, I'm usually told they have to order a tire because they don't keep them stocked. I am beyond grateful!!! Thank you Art and his team!!!read more

After many different bad experiences at other mechanics... including a dealership which failed to properly diagnose and fix my vehicle Arty's caught what the dealership missed and fixed at a cheaper price. Every time I have taken a vehicle to Art's shop it has been a great experience. I won't take my vehicle's to any other shop. Hands down the best mechanic in the area. Your for sure in good hands at this place. Great pricing. Fast and efficient work. Most of all they get the job done right. Can't say enough good things about Arty's.read more

Arty is awesome! I wanted a second opinion when I was told I had... an exhaust leak. Found out the other shop that did my spark plugs and cleaned my fuel system didn't close the air filter box correctly and had a hose detached and that's why my car sounded the way it did! I spent many sleepless nights wondering how I was going to pay for an exhaust system and here it was a quick fix! You have my service for now on! Thanks so much!read more

Our car overheated an hour from our home and we had to get it... towed to a mechanic. AAA wanted to take it to a place that had not-so-good reviews, and I had them instead take the car to Arty's. (Based solely on reviews as we are not from the area.)Not only did they fix what needed fixed so that we were back on the road with the car the next day, but they also figured out that the previous work that was done for the car was the fault of this overheating issue, and Arty was willing to talk with the other repair shop, told them what was wrong, and we ended up getting the cost covered by them.Arty and the team seems to do solid work and they are just honest people, which is what I like to see in a mechanic. Had my car towed there for an estimate for a blown engine, was... expecting to pay thousands but they found out my engine was covered under a recall Through the Hyundai dealership. I had it towed there and instead of paying for 5-6 thousand I paid zero. Very honest shop!!read more

In almost 24 years I’ve finally found a mechanic I trust and who... will not steer me wrong. The prices are fair and the work done is always done right! The two things i absolutely love is that art is called out to tell you everything that was done and to go over everything that you should think about doing down the road. * This is my very 1ST experience and so far I have encountered... GENUINE FOLKS*✓ The very 1st thing that caught my eye was Arty has this little setup in the corner for when children comes in with their parents. This is RARE to see a setup for kids at a car repair shop! Also, it seems like Arty is a family oriented man & I just adore the pictures he has up of his precious children. I have six children of my own so I respect a man that cherishes his family.✓ The receptionist Laura is Amazing! She isVery Polite, Professional & Patient. Everyone Appreciates Excellent Customer Services! So, Thank You Laura & I truly appreciate your positive energy!🙂✓ The young gentleman Joseph is inspiring!He was generous enough to drive me back home & we briefly chatted about his passion in auto mechanic and how Arty is helping him reach his potential goal in life.🤗✓ He gave me a little background on Arty & he spoke highly of him. I have a car that I did a motor swap and some modifications... myself ,its a project/work car .When I couldn't finish what I started I tried to reach many mechanics, Including Salvos who basically robbed me for 2000.. I Then heard and drove past Artys and thought well Im gonna see what he can do for me bc I need 2 cars at my house. So I went and talked with him, where he told me what I wanted to hear he could fix it. Now it was a process bout for me about 6 months, due to financial struggles. But when I couldn't come up with the full amount he helped me three times get a loan that I paid off, which I BARELY paid nothing back on interest. I RECCOMEND GOING TO SEE THIS auto mechanic he gets the job done, wont just do things without asking, prices are good and he warrantees his work. The list of things they did to my car is toooo much to list , I had to drive to West Virginia and Ohio from Pennsylvania in a car that hadn't been driven since 2018. This car was dead and had been sitting so parts needed to be replaced. But the thing is I drove that car already 1000 miles since Friday and its Sunday, I HAVNT HAD AN ISSUE YET. So if u want good Quality work that you can depend on then CALL ARTYSAUTOSERVICE, he also helped me with my 2017 Vw and worked with the dealership warrantees, so he never let me down or without a car.. Yes I had put off some expensive items that needed to be done for some years. but I was trying to find that right station that was going to Do the job right the 1st time. I recently had some repairs done to my Jeep at Artys Auto... Service, and as usual I am very happy! My Wrangle is seventeen years old this year, but honestly it doesn’t feel like I’m driving a vehicle that old. It handles great, everything is tight and I know that it is mechanically sound. Arty takes care of all of my car maintenance and repairs. I can’t tell you how nice it is to have a place to take my car and know that I am receiving high quality work. It's always difficult to search for new mechanic, and trust one... with a major repair, BUT I got extremely lucky when I got Arty's Auto Service off of yelp. My 2003 Ford Explorer need a new timing chain (not a cheap or quick fix but Arty provided me with a detailed estimate, and even when there additional work he was fair, honest. Arty provided personal attention to my vehicle needs, as well as receiving greatly, friendly customer service from Brooke. They provided me with a warranty on the work...that's hard to find these days. My first experience with them was so good, that I ask him to replace a starter that was recently done by another mechanic. I waited to write this review, and since then any time my vehicle makes a strange sound, or feels odd (and a 17 year old vehicle has lots of them) I will be taking it to Arty, as well as all my cars. 2020 may be a rough year for many of use, but finding Arty's Auto Service online was a hit for me.read more

Probably have dropped an arm and a leg at this place, but that’s... what it costs to take care of your cars. I really like how thorough they. Art really tries to give you as many options and scenarios that fit within your budget, but also makes sense for your car and safety. Never pressures you into any additional expenses like most places do. Also very quick! Never go a day without my car. We recently moved in the area in March and have been using them ever since. Art did an awesome job on my front in my truck feels like it is... riding on rails. He was very knowledgeable and professional when it came to the issue and parts that were needed to be replaced he always contacted me when an issue came up and even brought me in the shop to show me the issues before he tackle the problem. I did feel the labor was a little high but I'm not from this area. I will gladly pay for quality.read more

I have an older Jeep Wrangler, and after repairs were made... following a front end accident, my car felt unstable at higher speeds. Steering was sloppy and it would not stay in alignment. I took it to Artys. When they finished with my Jeep, it felt as tight as the day I bought it. Art explained everything to me along the way. The other shop had replaced my axle with a used one, as a result, the car would not go into proper alignment. Arty worked on it until it was right. I have since had several age related repair, replacement, and maintenance work done there. My little Jeep is actually fun to drive again! Arty knows what he is doing, he has high standards, and his shop does top quality work. I know my car is safe.read more
